Heart and Soul FB.init("1a0f6d7b6a60c7ae87c90eed8ce7c8d4");Hugh C on Facebook Detroit native Hugh Cleal has always kept music close to his heart. Coming from a family of musicians, he picked up the violin at a very early age and quickly mastered the art. He also took part in theatrical plays where he began to sing and act. It was during this time Hugh realized that music and the arts were going to be his life. In the mid 90’s, Hugh was swept away by the Detroit Techno music scene. Falling in love with techno and house, he quickly began attending numerous underground warehouse raves in Detroit. Soon after this, he founded the legendary group“/sin-de-kat/” along with Detroit natives, Courtney and Dave. Together they produced events that featured Deep Dish, King Britt, Q-Bert, The Pharcyde, Little Louis Vega, Ron Trent, and Funkmaster Flex to name a few. ; Hugh quickly gained the respect of his peers with his legendary underground warehouse parties in Detroit such with events such as “Family Ties” and "The Valentines Day Series" in collaboration with a few other local groups. He was then offered a position at Motor which hosted some of Detroit’s best events with the likes of Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Derrick Carter, Deep Dish, and many more. The venue received international press and was voted #1 club in the USA on URB magazine. Shortly thereafter, Hugh was offered a position at Velvet Lounge in Pontiac by long time mentor and good friend, Terrence Parker. Having held residencies at the legendary Motor Lounge, Tonic, and Platinum Windsor over the years, Hugh quickly began to receive offers to perform in cities like Miami, Chicago, Toledo, St Louis, Toronto, and more. More currently, Hugh is the resident Dj at Vain, who has gained international acclaim in the electronic dance scene as one of the most respectable venues in Detroit. Apart from his busy performance schedule, Hugh is also working in the studio with long time colleague, Yos in preparation for his debut release album scheduled for release in 2010 Please join my facebook fan page here: ;http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hugh-C/104995591212?ref=ts and stay tuned to our upcoming events at http://www.sindekat.com a.thedjlist {background:url(http://thedjlist.com/cgi-bin/thedjlist.cgi?HUGH+C&6) no-repeat;height:118px;width:120px;border:0;display:block;} a.thedjlist span {display:none;} a.thedjlist_p {display:block;width:120px;text-align:center;} Vote for HUGH C at http://thedjlist.com Grab this Badge

Integrity Records/Plushouse Recordings/Drizzle Music/Jack Locker Recordings/CHFM / Greenhouse Recordings/ Tastie Music/ BIO I fell in love with house music at the early age of 17. The year was 1994 and the Midwest rave scene was just starting to blossom. I took a liking to the sound coming out of Chicago. Some of my early influences were; Dj Sneak, Derrick Carter, Miles Meada, Traxx, Justin Long, Cajmere and Lego. I would end up starting my DJ career on Chicago’s north side. There I worked for Sun Ra Productions and played such parties as Cosmic Cup of Cappuccino alongside Boo Williams, Derrick Carter and Robert Armani. I later made connections with Terry Martin and was booked to open up for Derrick Carter at Chicago’s very own Smart Bar. I eventually took my knowledge back to Wisconsin and joined forces with 3D Concept Entertainment. We pooled our ideas together and brought a dance mecca to the Fox Valley. Like all good things in small cities it eventually came to an end. I then took time to travel and play throughout the United States mostly in L.A., San Diego, Mexico, Phoenix and down South. I was able to bring the Chicago house sound to area's heavily influenced by breaks and drum n bass and it was received well by all. After about 4 years off from the industry i moved back to Wisconsin from my home state of Michigan. There I began to work with Epiphic, which was an up and coming house music collective ran by my good friend Michael John. We once again had a thriving house music scene back in the Appleton and Green Bay areas, which lasted for some time. Michael and I started to produce tracks for his record label Epiphic Recordings. Using the aliases of Sterling Johnson & Tyrone James we released two e.p.s on Epiphic. In 2009 I met up with an old friend and decided to start another collective, which would later turn out to be Future Funk Foundation. We worked very hard together and by 2010 we had 2 releases out on Integrity Records. I am currently working on my own solo projects. The first being The Full Spectrum e.p. which is set to be released on June 15th 2011 on Integrity Records. I would like to give a special shout out to my good friend Kay Jay of Soul Deep Collective for believing in me and inspiring me to fulfill my dreams. Sean ~ I have been listening to them all. I'm not sure if my comment got posted but this is what I wrote. "A Revolutionary Deep Soulfull Transformation of Inner Isolation and Pain, which very few Survive, into a Marching Rhythmic Beat leading others to a Safe Spot on the Planet Earth" ~P~

technics sl 1210m5g (x2), rane empath rotary, Serato lil bit o' this... lil bit o' that Catch me each and every Friday and Saturday Night at Cosmo/Lava in Midtown, Atlanta!! http://www.cosmolava.com/ If you are in the South (USA) be on the lookout for future Jacked UP! Events Having grown up a "Rink Rat", I developed a love for all styles of music at an early age. I have to give some major credit to Jeff Green (R.I.P) who was the greatest influence I had on my DeeJaying. Disco, funk, early electro, freestyle and hip hop are huge influences and led me to discover house music at the tail end of the 80's / early 90's. Started DeeJaying around '92 and a few years later found myself throwing and playing raves and EDM weeklies all over Atlanta. Did the rave thing til '03 and got into the clubs around then doing the top 40/rap thing. Held numerous residencies in the ATL. Now I have re discovered my roots and found again the music that started me on this journey 30 yrs ago... Please enjoy my mixes... I try to do a little of everything.. mainly house, disco, 80's. DJ PaperKrayne
DJ PaperKrayne

Sennheiser HD251-II Studio Headphones, 2 Pioneer CDJ800 TurnTables & Pioneer DJM600 Mixer Headphones, Demos of myself to hand out, a large variety of tunes/genres, a sharpie or two, recording cables, blank cds(just in case) among others.. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, PaperKrayne (-AKA- Danie D-RaYnGD, Danie D Raynebow) is a familiar face in Edmonton's Electronica Scene, turning a fresh cheek as a Female DJ, with no limitiations to her immense passion for music. Performing full song&dance acts to the likes of Madonna & Kate Bush by the age of three, there was never a doubt that Danielle would be a star. As she grew her eccentricity blossomed. Always attracted to the colourful life of show business and the up-beat groove of dance music, artists such as Daft Punk & Chris Sheppard quickly expanded her interest into the wonderful world of electronica. Instantly hooked by the sound, Danielle's love for this new electronic scene was taken one step further when Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) was released in North America in 1999. It was clear this bubbly little blonde was well on her way to developing a severe bassline addiction. Continually seeking new outlets for her abundant positive energy & exuberence, Danielle was exstatic when her eldest brother, on her sixteenth birthday, presented her with the highly anticipated ticket to her very first rave. Whilst dancing in the midst of this first incredible experience, she realized this was where she wanted to stay. She immediately started on the journey to become a DJ, with the re-born desire of producing her own tracks. With her extensive classical music education, vocal training & high commitment to detail, its no wonder she was able to pick up the art of beatmatching almost as soon as her hands touched the decks. This provocative spinstress will delight you with her raynebow frequencys of filthy Fidget Electro Breaks, all types of Trance (including full on PSY!), Hardstyle and summer-loving Speed Garage, to name a few. The enthusiastism of this Hardcore girls contageous smile & positive, feel-good vibe behind the decks is sure to leave you wanting more. For diversity is the golden ticket that makes it difficult to place a needle on the unique sound of PaperKrayne. Kristoff (Local Edmonton DJ), Nadia Ali, Darren Hayes, ATB, Above&Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, BT, Ill Gates, Deekline, Madonna, Kate Bush, Roofio(Local Edmonton DJ), Linkin Park, Tritonal, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Phil Collins, Yanni, KD Lang, ....
